We Are A Dog Friendly Restaurant
The Strand Cahore is dog friendly so bring along your best buddy for your day out at Cahore!
Did you know that we are a dog friendly restaurant?
As dog owners ourselves we appreciate the joy and companionship that dogs bring and want you to now that well behaved dogs are always welcome here at The Strand Cahore.
Why not plan a lovely day out with a walk along the Cahore Walking Trailfollowed by Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner in our cosy restaurant overlooking the sea.
We also provide water bowls outside for thirsty doggies and have installed a dog poop bin at the beginning of the walking trail. You can even purchase dog poop bags in our restaurant or at our seabiscuit coffee hatch.
Let's see those wagtastic dogs!

Dog Friendly FAQS:
Well behaved dogs are permitted in The Strand Cahore at designated seats in the bar area – seated quietly on the floor and not on the furniture.
We are dog friendly at The Strand Cahore and have designated seating areas for dogs and their owners – please let us know if you are bringing your dog so we can seat your accordingly or if you have issues with dogs being permitted so that we can also seat your accordingly.
Our designated dog friendly seats are in the bar in the following seats THE FIRE, THE NOOK, THE CRANNY, THE OAR. We cannot allow dogs in the restaurant or bar dining areas so that every guest is comfortable and happy.
We kindly ask dog owners not give doggy bags/food/water bowls to dogs inside the building. Please always keep their dogs on a leash. If your dog barks, please remove it immediately. If your dog is causing distress to other customers, we will respectively ask you to remove your dog, but please rest assured this has not happened in the 4 years that we have welcomed your furry friends.
